Hello, new favorite pants. A little slouchy but not too baggy, Madewell’s “Boyjean” in a wash called linen are late August’s answer to the now-ubiquitous white jean. They’ll give just enough in all the places you want it, but remain true to their shape in the areas that others often fail. (No baggy-knee syndrome.) Pair them with Chelsea boots and a casual top like in the photo above, or cuff the hems and add a heel if you’re feeling fancy.
