Donatella Versace took a moment to e-mail Just Jared a glowing endorsement of the single "Donatella" from Lady Gaga's forthcoming album Art Pop. While a fun pop number, it's also Gaga's "love song" to her friend's ability to "walk the walk, no matter what."

Is this another Tom Ford–Jay Z moment? Tom Ford was openly flattered by the song "Tom Ford," Jay's ode to getting high from fly fashion. But according to Lady Gaga, the song's less about the brand than about "Donatella as a person": "Maybe she’s a bitch, maybe she’s too skinny, maybe she’s too rich, maybe she’s too out there. Or, maybe she’s brilliant, maybe she’s intelligent, maybe she’s strong, maybe she’s everything, maybe she's Donatella," Gaga told Just Jared. Versace responded in turn with her own list of admirable Gaga traits: “I would like to thank Gaga for her geniality, creativity, incredible talent and super bitchiness." Sounds like a fun friendship!
