Street Style: Vibrant, Sparkly Plumes at the West Indian Day Parade

By

On Labor Day, the 46th annual West Indian Day Parade — celebrating Caribbean pride and culture — kicked off on Brooklyn's Eastern Parkway. Parade attendees and costumed dancers did not allow the gray skies, high levels of humidity, and rain to even come close to affecting their celebration. And they injected their own dose of color into the day with bedazzled two-piece outfits, extravagant feathered headwear, body glitter, masks, flags, and more. The Cut sent photographer Yana Paskova to capture the dancing revelers in action. Click through the slideshow to ogle some plumed masterpieces.
