Of all visible celestial events, lunar eclipses are the most remarkable, so look out for one on Friday the 18th. During a lunar eclipse, a red shadow moves across the bright face of the full moon, sometimes obscuring it completely so that the moon glows with a faint, copper light. Traditionally, a lunar eclipse will bring about a tumultuous global event, and this one in Aries suggests political discord and controversy, particularly the demise of an eminent figure of Western Europe. Mars will oppose Neptune on Saturday the 19th, and on this day your physical energy may be low, so be careful to avoid any situation that will place undue stress upon your body. You could have unpleasant side effects from using alcohol or drugs not prescribed by your doctor. Mercury experiences a retrograde cycle beginning Monday the 21st. The term retrograde is applied to the apparent backward motion of the planets through the zodiac. Until November 10th, extra caution is needed to ensure that messages are clearly understood and delivered. Slow things down and do not make compromises for the sake of speed.
Libra (September 23–October 22)
If you're heading into this transit in a foul mood, you'll be even more jealous than usual. Rely on loved ones to soothe your nerves in this regard.
Scorpio (October 23–November 21)
During your emotional encounters with people you will experience moods and feelings that are radically different from your "normal" self. But it's you, so own it.
Sagittarius (November 22–December 21)
You feel a restless, strange urge to get away from your daily routine, without quite knowing why. But remember, "getting away" can be done in the mind as well as in the physical world.
Capricorn (December 22–January 19)
Even if you hate making a scene in public, you are likely to indulge in such displays now. You might have an argument with a loved one or spouse, or you might have a public outburst of good emotions.
Aquarius (January 20–February 18)
The time has come to talk to your friend about the unspoken tension between you. Airing out the issues between you may resolve some serious concerns that have been troubling you for some time.
Pisces (February 19–March 20)
Perhaps you, like many people, have always felt that if others really knew you, they wouldn't like you. You may be tempted to withdraw and keep your feelings secret, especially if you are at all insecure. Instead, communicate your deep inner feelings to someone you can trust.
Aries (March 21–April 19)
You're very self-centered this week, which is fine, but don't completely disregard everybody else's point of view. It's not easy, but try to stay objective when dealing with other people.
Taurus (April 20–May 20)
You've invested a lot of emotions into material objects but the objects themselves are not meaningful, so take this week off from shopping because you are not likely to make smart purchases right now.
Gemini (May 21–June 20)
Normally, the fact that you are so impulsive doesn't get in the way of your success. This week, however, you risk making a bad impression upon someone by reacting automatically instead of thinking things through. This will be especially true with casual acquaintances and relatives.
Cancer (June 21–July 22)
Under this influence there is a strong fear of being alone or alienated, which will make you feel more possessive than usual. Try that old cliché about letting something you love go free. You will be less likely to lose it.
Leo (July 23–August 22)
Don't conceal your feelings from others this week. If some people don't like this side of you it's time to reconsider your friendships.
Virgo (August 23–September 22)
Don't be passive-aggressive or make people in your life feel guilty for how they are making you feel. Just fess up to what's bugging you.
