If there's one thing I love about chilly weather - and there aren't that many others, really - it's the freedom to pack on the layers. Never one for subtlety, I mix patterns, colors, and textures with absolute abandon. Well, almost absolute. Even the busiest ensembles need a little bit of balance; it's all too easy to cross the line into that messy, I-got-dressed-in-the-dark territory. Here, a slim fitting, subtle polka dot button down keeps bulk to a minimum, while the tailored graphic mini offsets the cobalt chunky knit. I topped it off with a streamlined coat in a contrasting, ultra bold color, and kept the remaining elements pared down in sleek black. There has to be a little bit of harmony in all of that chaos, right? Says the girl in a neon coat and mirrored gold sunglasses.
