Yesterday at the 17th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala held in Beverly Hills, the 12 Years a Slave actress (and daughter of a Kenyan politician) dazzled yet again in her recent red-carpet takeover. Nyong’o looked striking in a sleeveless saffron yellow gown by J. Mendel, complete with a triangular keyhole cutout near the neckline, and she showed off toned arms that rival Michelle Obama’s. She added a touch of orange to her lips, furthering her citrus theme, and carried a metallic clutch for the rest of the evening.
