Over the weekend, at the 2013 New York Film Festival, the actress and face of Calvin Klein’s Downtown fragrance attended the premiere of her latest film, Her. Mara put an ever-so-slight spin on her usual monochrome red-carpet routine that evening by introducing a few new shades and textures to her look. She wore a dress fresh from Proenza Schouler’s spring 2014 collection featuring a triangle midriff peephole, a shiny black fitted bodice, and a black, cream, and silver pleated skirt. She added black Brian Atwood peep-toe platforms and, as usual, wore her hair up in the tightest bun possible. She then dabbled some more in the color game by adding red eye shadow to her lids, which helped her match the red carpet — but also made her look like a more muted bloodthirsty vampire.
