I would never pigeonhole myself into a specific style. I wear what I want when I feel like it, which often results in a myriad of looks from punk to preppy to bohemian to confused five-year-old. My whole shtick is, why lock yourself into one look when you can adopt dozens? For this latest round up of SOREL styling, I decided to pair three different boots with three of my more signature styles, the aforementioned punk, preppy, and bohemian. But what was perhaps the most fun for me was styling an entire look around a specific boot. Normally when I get dressed, I start with a shirt or pair of pants, but this time around it was all about what was happening south of my ankles and styling them according to a specific genre or trend. For my preppy look I opted for a simple Breton-stripe shirt, classic dark blue denim, a red coat, and topped it all off with the ultimate heeled rain boot. For the punk look I went with my standard motorcycle jacket, dark grey jeans and rugged plaid button-down. And lastly, for the bohemian look, I channeled my favorite music festival outfit: lightweight white dress, army green jacket, slouchy hat, and sturdy pair of boots. Which look is your favorite?
