The overflowing box atop my dresser attests to my obsession with collecting costume jewelry. But after so many broken and tarnished pieces, I'm rethinking my accessory strategy. In an attempt to streamline spending, I'm hoping to slowly build up a collection that will stand the test of time. First on the list is this rose gold and diamond ring by Spanish jewelry designer Monica Vinader. With it's champagne diamonds, it's delicate enough to stack, but has enough heft to be worn alone. The clean design also means that could I pull the ring out decades later, and it will look equally good then as it does now.
