Vanity Fair reports that Jennifer Lawrence is no longer a universally beloved imaginary best friend but in fact an argumentative actress ankle-deep in a fashion-fueled feud.
In a conversation with Marissa Mayer, Lawrence noted:
There are shows like the Fashion Police that are just showing these generations of young people to judge people based on all the wrong values and that it’s OK to point at people and call them ugly or fat.
Oh, you just know, it's a feud like every other super-boring feud, till the fashion police get involved. Because they get into it. Waiting for this moment since Sunday, February 24, 2013, Joan Rivers pounced:
WAIT! It just dawned on me why Jennifer Lawrence fell on her way up to the stage to get her Oscar. She tripped over her own arrogance.
It’s funny how Jennifer Lawrence loved @E_FashionPolice during Awards Season when we were complimenting her every single week. But now that she has a movie to promote, suddenly we’re picking on all those poor, helpless actors.
Very inventive, with the tripping over an intangible characteristic and creating this fight out of whole cloth.
So it's official: Lawrence is no longer adored by every creature on this vast planet — one criticism of an E! network series and success crumbles away, like sands through an hourglass.
