The holiday collaboration between super high-end designer L'Wren Scott and Banana Republic seemed like an odd pairing at first, but the collection's look book (out today) proves that the two brands have actually meshed quite well. Scott's most obvious influences can be seen in the sparkly sweaters (she once said she has a whole shelf of sequined cashmere in her closet), the curve-hugging cocktail dresses (one of her staples), and the fit-and-flared skirts. Office-bound women who prefer a little less va-voom — we can't all be six foot three and date Mick Jagger, after all — will find cropped cigarette pants and colorful cardigans. And as for the most Banana Republic-y detail of all: the 50+ pieces of apparel and accessories will retail from $39.50 to $198, a far cry from the Scott's usual four-digit price tags. The capsule collection comes out on December 5. See it all in our slideshow.BEGIN SLIDESHOW
