The Best and Worst of December Fashion Magazines

By

As 2013 draws to a close, the Cut revives an oldie but a goodie: the best and worst of the month's fashion editorials. December's mags were full of moody black-and-white shots, like Richard Bush's creepy Cara Delevingne and Tim Walker's down-and-out chimney sweeps, wild animals used as props, and models (plus a sad James Franco) who looked liked they broke out the New Year's Champagne a month too early. Even the ubiquitous Céline "Birkenstocks" made an appearance. From a scantily clad model riding a crocodile like a carousel horse to a woman who imitates Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" in her sleep, click through our slideshow to see this month's superlatives from W, Vogue, CR Fashion Book, and more.
