At the UNICEF Snowflake Ball held yesterday, the singer and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador channeled her holiday spirit by wearing an outfit from Naeem Khan’s fall 2013 collection that made her look like a regal bearer of good cheer (a.k.a a young Mrs. Claus) — or an extra on Game of Thrones. Perry paired a floor-length halter red-velvet dress with a gold-embroidered sheer cape that trailed behind her with flourish. She continued the deep-red theme by painting her nails and lips to match. Someone just needs to commission a cape that’s just as festive for André Leon Talley.
