Scientist Invents ‘Healthy’ Chocolate

The Daily Mail reports that Dr. Stefan Bon of Warwick University is the inventor of choco-lite: a new, "healthy" chocolate that uses agar, an appetite-suppressing jelly found in seaweed, to replace chocolate's fat content. But in a world filled with "healthy" cookies," healthy" ice cream, "healthy" fro-yo, and "healthy" cupcakes, some think there isn't room in the market for "healthy" chocolate that tastes "pretty darn good." Some industry experts "questioned whether the public will embrace healthy chocolate." The Cut is available for taste-testing this healthy, delicious chocolate that no one seems to want.
