In the age of social media, it’s hard to keep anything a secret, because everyone on the planet must Instagram everything at all times, spoilers be damned. Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy, however, went the extra step this morning to prevent backstage photos of his fall 2014 menswear collection leaking before the show walked. According to Business of Fashion, the brand made all its pre-show attendees place their phones in chic, minimalist, sealed sandwich baggies. Then, in a super-meta move, BoF Instagrammed the image of a phone that was bagged to prevent Instagramming, because if you didn’t Instagram it, did it even really happen?
