In a study ranking countries with the most plentiful, healthiest food, Oxfam revealed that the Netherlands takes the No. 1 spot. Looking at indicators such as availability, affordability, quality, and healthiness, European countries made up the entire top twenty. And per usual, the French get their bragging rights, with France ranked number two. Oui, just another reason why French women don't get fat or facelifts. The United States ranked 20th, tied with Japan. News of the Netherlands' win surely means that new nutritional value has been found in speculoos (cookie butter), stroopwafels (pictured above), and poffertjes. Or that pickled herring has some sort of a caloric negative effect.
