Last night, at Audi’s Golden Globes Weekend Celebration in Beverly Hills, Michelle Dockery proved she can look elegant in just about anything, including an eye-catching frock featuring not one but two different plaid patterns. In a brightly patterned dress from Altuzarra’s pre-fall 2014 collection, Dockery seemed worlds away from the mopey Lady Mary who debuted an all-black wardrobe and bad attitude on Sunday’s Downton Abbey season premiere. Finishing off the tasteful look with pale yellow heels and minimal makeup, Dockery radiated warmth — something we may not see from her onscreen for some time still.
