As fashion labels scramble to integrate wearable tech like Google Glass or Intel bracelets to their lewks, they might want to make sure the devices don’t give wearers gnarly rashes first. Some owners of the Fitbit Force — a fitness-tracking bracelet from the company that recently partnered with Tory Burch — are reporting “severe skin irritation,” according to the Huffington Post. After affected customers began bonding over their rashes in Fitbit forums, the company announced it will offer refunds or exchanges. Because nothing dispels a carefully cultivated cyborg vibe faster than scratching an itch.
