Fashion Week is almost upon us! While collections remain under wraps until the final minutes before a show, designers have given us a sneak peek at their mood boards for fall 2014. Every season, the Cut brings you "One Word, One Shot," in which we ask designers to share one image and one word that describes their upcoming collections. While inspirations this season were all over the map, there seems to be a fascination with uniforms, judging by Thom Browne’s "nuns are fun" sketch and Band of Outsiders’ cheerleader shot. Also expected are bright-color palettes, with Degen and Cynthia Rowley submitting pictures of rainbows. Meanwhile, Diesel Black Gold and Organic by John Patrick have us convinced moon boots might make a comeback, as both appear fascinated by Neil Armstrong landing on the moon.
