How to Pack Your Bag for the Long Days at Fashion Week

Fashion days tend to run looooooong, and, in February, involve girding up against the brutal cold, blinding snow, and sweltering crowds inside shows. Show-going requires stamina — there's a lot of running around from uptown to downtown, and even back to Brooklyn (but nowhere near where I live) — and, of course, supplies.

So when packing my bag each morning, I tend to eschew organized, dainty clutches, and go for large totes and bucket bags full of useful objects like umbrellas, complexion-brightening lipsticks, and vitamins. Click through the slideshow ahead for my picks for packing a bag during one of the busiest weeks of the year.
