Why spend $180 to pre-order your copy of Pharrell’s now-famous Vivenne Westwood hat when you could burn $10,500 on eBay to own the actual hat that sat atop his head?

Pharrell tweeted: "I'm auctioning off my hat from the Grammy's to benefit From One Hand to AnOTHER," and then baited Arby's to come reclaim their logo, since they were so cranky about it in the first place. There are currently 64 bids on the hat, but the auction closes March 2, which means there's still time to bid on “the hat that took the 2014 Grammy Awards by storm and social media by storm!”

Sadly, the change in ownership spells the end for @PharrellsHat, which bid the Twittersphere adieu with a simple, weighty, forlorn: “bye.”
