Peter Pilotto for Target, Isabel Marant for H&M — capsule collections and diffusion lines are taken for granted in the fashion world. But what would a diffusion line for art look like? That's the question posed by the art collective DIS with "DISown-Not For Everyone," which they describe as an “exhibition posing as a retail store." The collective asked more than 30 artists — including Ryan Trecartin, Simon Fujiwara, K-HOLE, and Hood by Air — to create pieces for the show at Red Bull Studios in Chelsea, where they'll be on sale through April 6. (Prices will range from $50 to $500, "with exceptions.")
