Saturday night, Miley Cyrus slid down a giant tongue to land on the Barclays Center stage — the same spot where, at last summer's VMAs, she twerked her way to a new level of celebrity.
“This place looks familiar,” she shouted to the crowd, as she took the stage wearing a red-sequined crop top, high-waisted bikini bottoms, feathery wings, and white cowboy boots. “You guys are actually the first time I've actually had a genuine smile on my face in about a week,” she told fans (her dog, Floyd, was reportedly killed by a coyote on Tuesday). “Barclays, thank you for having me back."
The sold-out crowd went wild. And they were decked out in looks worthy of Cyrus herself, ranging from the long-ago country girl to Cali boho to stoner to Bangerz glam. Click ahead for short-shorts, high socks, Bulls jerseys, pot leaves, lots of tongues, and of course, tiny buns galore.
