Last night, as the most star-studded gala of the year came to an end, ball-gown-clad celebs made one final outfit change (some of them, anyway) and headed to either the Top of the Standard, or Rihanna’s post-gala shindig at Up & Down. While Beyoncé made no effort to change out of her Givenchy couture, others thoroughly embraced the opportunity to dress down: Rita Ora detached the tulle skirt of her Donna Karan gala gown, exposing the full extent of her thigh-high lace-up pumps, Giovanna Battaglia traded her floral mesh for green vinyl, and June Ambrose wore a blazer with no pants. Across town, Shailene Woodley made her habitual barefoot traipse on her way into Rihanna’s party, while Kristen Stewart swapped out Chanel couture for her well-worn Converse and jeans. Suki Waterhouse changed out of her extravagant Burberry gown into what appears to be a color-blocked bathrobe, and, true to form, Lily Allen arrived at the Carlyle with a pizza box in hand. Click through the slideshow for these and more highlights from last night’s after-parties.
