Kanye Is Playing the Embarrassing-Dad Long Game

Kanye West just laid the groundwork for future North West eye-rolls and embarrassed huffs — and he did it in a grand Kanye fashion by making an entire city into a potential source of mortification. He told an Italian newspaper, Florence's La Nazione, about how important Florence was to his relationship with his fiancé:

I adore Florence. I love Italy and the Italian lifestyle. To tell you the truth, I already came to the banks of the Arno [river] with Kim last year, just the two of us, incognito ... I think that our daughter North was conceived here among the Renaissance masterpieces. It was our first honeymoon. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world — for me the most beautiful in Europe.

Noting that his child was created in close proximity to very important art: Kanye's own exceptional approach to embarrassing dad-ness.
