Traditionally, part of the experience of shopping for rare items has been that they’re somewhat difficult to find. Not anymore: Reissued, a new ecommerce app that launched yesterday, aims to bring users the vintage shopping experience without all the hassle. The brainchild of furniture designer Jen DeLonge, the app offers a curated selection of vetted vendors, intended to “cut through the noise of eBay and Etsy.” The result is essentially a shoppable Instagram, or perhaps simply the future of boutiques: an infinite feed of photogenic, vintage wares, including fashion, furniture, art, and music, sourced from a range of global merchants. Vendors include Decades, AmericanRag, OneFortyThree, and more.
