How Swede It Is: Grace Unveils Its Resort Line

Frame Denim creators Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson have created some of the fashion set’s favorite jeans, denim shirts, and overalls (last night, one editor confessed she likes their wares so much, she actually buys them). Now the handsome Swedes are branching out with a new line called Grace. The collection also has a singular focus: little black dresses, plus a couple of little black le smoking–style suits for good measure. If their Frame girl wears white denim overalls while running around downtown, it’s easy to imagine her slipping into one of these pieces for the evening. With a star cast of models including Hilary Rhoda and Hanne Gaby Odiele, last night’s runway show at the NoMad Hotel drew fans Hanneli Mustaparta, Jaime King, and Sophie Auster, plus plenty of editors who were already reaching for their checkbooks. Click through the slideshow to see all the looks from the collection.
