Speaking on a panel at Cannes yesterday, Kanye delivered one of his ever-entertaining rants. According to the New York Post, the rapper tilted at a number of windmills, including fashion critics, people who didn't like his "Bound" video, and Samsung. (He describes himself as "not a fan, and added, "I am not going to represent any company except Louis Vuitton because that’s the best.") But Annie Leibovitz was his biggest target; West revealed that they feuded after she pulled out of shooting the #worldsmosttalkedaboutwedding. Said Kanye, “She was afraid of celebrity.”

This makes sense, because if there's anyone who's notable for avoiding celebrities, it's Annie Leibovitz. She definitely didn't photograph Kim and Kanye photographing each other with iPads for a Vogue cover shoot, for example. She also dodged the assignment to shoot the celebrity cast members of Game of Thrones for the cover of Vanity Fair, instead choosing to attend a silent meditation retreat in a quiet mountain village. Then there was the time she backed out of that Marks & Spencer campaign with Helen Mirren and Ellie Goulding because, you know, celebrities terrify her. Ah, yes, noted celebrity-avoider Annie Leibovitz! Known for street casting in D'Agostino's and Duane Reade. Only regular, non-famous people need apply!
