On Monday August 18, Venus and Jupiter form an aspect that will increase our capacity for pleasures. Use this day to your advantage; plan important dates and meetings. Moods should be pleasant and your thoughts should be productive as Mercury and Neptune aspect favorably as well on this day. Just be careful not to overindulge in rich or fatty foods that could upset your stomach.
This weekend the sun enters Virgo and begins the second month of harvest season. Virgo is analytical and modest, so things will settle down. It’s time to focus on your work, while still enjoying these last weeks of summer fun. If you follow up on small details now, you will be able to free your mind from work-related worries when it’s time to have fun.
Aries (March 21–April 19)
You will have more fun this month than any other month this year — make plans and be active with friends. Your fifth house of joy and pleasure is alight with both the sun and Venus in Leo, who rules with a heart of gold. Venus will make you attractive to those you wish to court, so if a relationship (romantic or otherwise) has recently ended, you have the ability to woo more suitable friends and lovers.
Taurus (April 20–May 20)
If you have been deceived in a romantic relationship or business partnership lately, look to your family and close friends for support. Right now, aspects aren’t favorable for partnerships. You will do best working alone until next month. If possible, take some time this week to talk to someone who gives good advice. You are sure to get the answers you need and a shoulder to cry on, if necessary. You're dependable, Taurus, but allow yourself to depend on others who care about you this week.
Gemini (May 21–June 20)
This month is really all about your health. It’s of utmost importance to take the time to schedule check-ups and treat yourself gently. Don’t be stressed, get plenty of rest, eat healthy, and drink lots of water. The aspects show that you could get run-down this week, so plan quiet nights at home with family and friends. Relationships are favored, so rely on partners for guidance. A Sagittarius friend or lover will prove of great use to you now — especially for sage advice.
Cancer (June 21–July 22)
The rest of this month is about work; the more you accomplish now the more confident you will feel in September as the pace picks up. If you feel as if you haven’t gotten a break this summer and need a healthy dose of relaxation, don’t worry: By next month, you will have the time to enjoy a short trip. You are sure to have enough money for indulging, thanks to extra savings you will have accumulated.
Leo (July 23–August 22)
Social media and communications are key now to help you promote your business or work. You're able to make more money through new contacts, but it’s best to be discreet at your current job when it comes to new plans. If you are looking for new employment, do not allow office gossip to spoil your chances at an opportunity. Refrain from getting involved with rumors, especially this week.
Virgo (August 23–September 22)
The sun enters your sign this week, and you will have about a month to rejuvenate. With Mercury (your planetary ruler) in your sign as well, this is the month to make things happen. If you are having a birthday party, invite plenty of friends. But it may be best to leave out family if there has been any tension — you'll be more relaxed.
Libra (September 23–October 22)
You may be ending a job now or are looking for a new one: Change is in the air. You are an air sign, so balance and tranquility make you think things through before acting. This may be a painstaking process and it may not be easy, but have the courage to make it through this tough period by distracting yourself with socializing. The stars will make it very difficult for you to make much money this month, so it’s best to try to regroup and start thinking of ways to increase your assets.
Scorpio (October 23–November 21)
Now you have the power to achieve whatever you want: The planets are in the right places for you to make dreams come true. Your first, tenth, and eleventh houses will make you exceedingly popular and successful. You will receive some sort of honor or raise this month due to your hard work. As always, don’t be too aggressive with people. With both Mars and Saturn in Scorpio, things could get ugly and confrontational.
Sagittarius (November 22–December 21)
Accolades at the job are in your future, Sagittarius. Although you are always looking up at the sky, it’s also important to gaze ahead every once in a while in order to see where you are going. Imagination, spiritual wisdom, and the power to perceive are all yours: You are a fire sign capable of great success, if you put your creative ideas to use in the physical realm and take your focus off of the clouds for a moment.
Capricorn (December 22–January 19)
Take a break from friendships that have had you stressed out. Consider whether your relationships have reciprocal, positive rapport. Popularity feels great, but it's not worth it unless your friends actually care about you. You may have “friends” on social media whom you don’t really need to be in touch with — edit your contacts to include only quality relationships.
Aquarius (January 20–February 18)
Seek out partnerships to gain success and honor. It’s possible now to meet someone new (in romance or business) who will help you increase your status. This transit may also signify meeting a wealthy lover, who will be brave and honest, but possibly haughty: Know when to rein him in.
Pisces (February 19–March 20)
Now is not the time to work alone on any significant projects. Ask others for assistance and be sure to delegate responsibilities so you remain on top of your work and stress-free. Fish swim in schools; your sign does best collaborating with others — with an air or earth sign, at the moment. The ideas and stability of these elements would do well to balance your creativity and put your ideas into action.
