Edie Campbell Got a Very Choppy Robot Bob

By

It's not even September and, already, we're calling a fall hair trend: the blunt bob — a style seen on the Marc Jacobs fall runway and newly minted Vanity Fair Best Dressed List inductee Donna Tartt. The bob is front and center (and, in a mod way, robotlike) in a new video for Bottega Veneta's fall campaign, which the brand released this week. Shot by David Sims and starring model-of-the-moment Edie Campbell (with hair by Garren, who did Karlie Kloss's famous chop), the video features models walking in front of a few colorful walls, highlighting the collection's geometric motif.

As Bottega Veneta's creative director Tomas Maier tells the Cut: "I am a great admirer of David’s photographs, we thought that his stark, pared-down aesthetic would be a natural fit with the graphic elements of this collection." Watch the video below, and then click through the slideshow for highlights from other fall ad campaigns.
