The ’90s Were a Dream Time When Pasta Was a Diet Food

Cindy Crawford takes us back to the utopian community that ate pasta as a diet food. It was the 1990s. She remembers it like it was 25 years ago. She told Violet Grey:

Remember back in the ‘90s when people thought that a big bowl of pasta was a low-calorie option? Those were the days. Today, eating that is like eating a sundae.

Those were the days, indeed. The salad days of food, in which salad wasn't the only low-calorie food.
