Cara Delevingne is giving Linda Evangelista a run for her money. The supermodel reportedly earned an average of £6,500 a day in 2013, per The Telegraph — which, when converted into dollars, comes out to slightly over the sum Evangelista claimed to command on waking. (Whether Cara was actually awake for some of her gigs is, of course, debatable.) But despite her lucrative modeling career, Delevingne tells WWD today that “[Modeling] has definitely become more on the back burner, just because there’s no way I can work as much as I have been.” Instead, she’s focusing on acting, including roles in Paper Towns, London Fields, Pan, and Tulip Fever. Presumably, she’ll be handsomely compensated for that as well.
