On Saturday, Kim Kardashian deviated from her red-carpet stalwarts Balmain and Lanvin to try an adventurously asymmetrical dress from Cushnie et Ochs’s spring 2015 collection. She showed up at LACMA’s Art + Film Gala in a navy-blue gown featuring a confusing interpretation of a halter top, including a strange single spaghetti strap. Despite an admirable attempt to distract from the questionable neckline with an expensive-looking diamond dog collar, the overall look remained a bit lopsided.
