December 29 marked the 60th annual International Debutante Ball, which took place, as is customary, in the Grand Ballroom at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. This year, 46 young “women of distinction” from all over the world (including five sets of sisters!) made their bows to society, accompanied by escorts in full tails, flags, and military cadets.
The Cut sent photographer Dina Litovsky to capture the decadent scene, including white dresses, rose bouquets, father-daughter dances, and many a dramatic curtsy. Click through the slideshow for a look inside the evening.BEGIN SLIDESHOW
