In an interview with Billboard, Joan Jett genuflects on the occasion of her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. If time were a flat circle, she would tell young Joanie to take more documentation of her face:

If I could go back and give my 15-year-old self some advice, I’d say to document what you go through. The Runaways have few photos or videos. I don’t think teenagers think that far ahead. I didn’t think about the future or “When will I retire?” I still haven’t thought about that. Other people keep going, so obviously I can.

For posterity’s sake, listen up, teens of the world: Take more pictures of yourself. Oh, you already do that all the time and actually, it’s kind of all you do? Okay, chill, carry on.
