Last summer, when normcore hit its peak, I joined the bandwagon and bought slip-on sandals. Unfortunately, they were short-lived: The leather footbed ripped apart after two weeks. Since then, I’ve been looking for a sleeker option than Birkenstocks to wear to dinner after work and not feel underdressed. Fortunately, Feit decided after the successful release of their premium leather sneakers to create hand-molded sandals in neutral colors that are perfect for spring. The soft leather straps are attached with hand stitches, and the footbed is lined with cork and natural latex that molds to your foot over time without retaining any odor or sweat. And since they’re a fancier upgrade than your normal Birkenstocks, all you have to do is pair them with a dress and tote bag and you’re good to go.
