In tonight’s rousing Republican debate, Donald Trump was probed by news pundit Megyn Kelly about what makes him allegedly beloved by many: his commitment to speaking his mind. By this she meant all the times Trump has referred to women as “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals.” Trump responded that of course he didn’t mean all women — he was really only talking about Rosie O’Donnell.
Kelly said that’s not true, and Trump volleyed back with a lament against our current climate of political correctness. Because that’s clearly stopping Trump from being a jerk to women.
