While Tom Brady’s four-game Deflategate suspension marks a time of despair for the Patriot’s quarterback, emails submitted as evidence in a lawsuit appealing the decision reveal that Tom Brady’s life is glorious — glorious enough to serve as a beacon of light in these dark times.

According to the 1,408 pages of email exchanges between Brady and various friends, family, co-workers, business partners, and Tom Ford employees that were released in the course of his lawsuit against the NFL, Tom Brady has plenty of good to focus on while he’s warming the bench at the start of the season. There's that time he almost played golf with pro-golfer Adam Scott in Florida. The awesome ski trip he took to Montana with the boys after the Super Bowl. The helpful Tom Ford specialist who's there to keep him stylish with fly black high-top sneakers and “polos with rugby fabric." That time he was invited to Elton John’s Oscar party. And, of course, that time he really wanted to spend $8,500 on a white pool cover, but his wife, Gisele Bündchen, saved them from having to clean a white pool cover all winter by instead selecting a much more practical gray cover. (Also, perhaps most important, the fact that he’s married to Gisele.)
