As the spring shows came to an end, we found ourselves anxiously tallying all the looks we wanted to re-create on our own. Rather than wait until 2016 rolls around, why not shop the best runway trends now — especially since so many of them will transition into fall with ease?
Most of the really wearable new trends are hybrid, new-and-improved takes on what's already happening in fashion, with a more modern and relatable approach. Jason Wu and Cushnie et Ochs showed ruffled dresses that were light and elegant, rather than poufy. Off-the-shoulder pieces were updated with straps and intricate necklines at Adam Selman and Derek Lam, and fringe lost its bohemian vibe with modern shredded hems at Prabal Gurung and Dion Lee.
