While departing Dior designer Raf Simons might be best known for dressing Jennifer Lawrence, his relationship with Rihanna has more historical significance: Just this year, she became the first-ever black woman to front the house. (Yes, it took until 2015.) The inaugural campaign had her roaming an eerily abandoned Versailles in sequins and a veil, and since then, she’s made appearances at the brand’s shows in Tokyo and Paris. She’s also worn a series of Dior outfits, many in what seems to be her signature color: a pleasing shade of pastel pink.
