Last year, Burberry caused quite a fashion-world frenzy by introducing its Prorsum monogramed poncho during the autumn-winter 2014 show. Since its runway debut, the cashmere poncho has been the subject of numerous SJP and Olivia Palermo paparazzi shots, and our very own outerwear fantasies. The poncho remains one of Burberry's biggest sellers, but as it retails for almost the equivalent of a tuition payment, it’s not a casual purchase. An easier way to get in on the poncho love: the brand’s check-lined wool wrap. It’s still on the pricier side, but the cozy extra-fine merino wool makes up for the cost. And it's highly versatile, functioning as a scarf, wrap, makeshift shirt, or an extra-cuddly blanket for days you wanna just Netflix and chill by your lonesome. If gray doesn’t appeal, the wrap is also available in a multitude of colors.
