At Wednesday night’s amfAR New York Gala, the Cut ran into documented Bey Hive member Andy Cohen, so we had to get his take on next week’s planned protest outside the NFL’s headquarters in response to Beyoncé’s scene-stealing Super Bowl halftime show appearance. And the Bravo host raised an interesting point: “What are they going to play at the protests? They can’t play Beyoncé, so the music is going to suck.”

“It’s really stupid. People should get a life,” he continued. “You should protest that there’s no cure for AIDS, or that someone’s trying to overturn gay marriage. But you’re going to protest Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime show? Protest the Black Eyed Peas’ halftime show. That was horrible.”
