For a week every February New York becomes an even-more-concentrated hive of celebrity activity, as the beautiful people descend on the city for Fashion Week. But not this year. This year the front rows and after-parties are bereft of A-list stars. Where have all the famous people gone? We found them — turns out they were all going to see Adele.
Vogue’s current cover woman gave a surprise concert Friday night at the Wiltern Theatre (her first in L.A. since 2011). Though it was only announced two days ago (and tickets were available only to people who were registered with her website), the show was packed with celebrity fans. The video below is of Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson, and Emma Stone getting down to “Rolling in the Deep,” while Katy Perry, John Mayer, Orlando Bloom, and Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson were also spotted at the show.
