Among the tropes of this primary season, one of the strongest has been the unshakable loyalty of Democratic bros to Bernie Sanders. But Hillary Clinton is a dedicated politician, and she will give her all to bringing the bro vote over to Team Hillary, including engaging them on their home turf: a bachelor party.
At a campaign stop on Friday at Saffron in Charleston, S.C., Clinton happened upon a pre-wedding brunch for groom-to-be John Schreck. He and ten of his groomsmen were downing bloody Marys, and were excited to meet the Democratic candidate and get a photo. Clinton’s photographer arranged the men in pleasing photo op formation around her with several kneeling, spurring Clinton to joke, “I love having men at my feet.”
Schreck invited her to the wedding, but Clinton declined. She’s got bigger fish to fry (presumably crushing the patriarchy beneath her pumps).
