Last week the Sex Lives hosts learned what is the best age to have sex (32, when you are the best at sex). And we found it was oddly comforting to know exactly when to do anything — especially sex. This week, Maureen O’Connor and David Wallace Wells wanted to know even more precise times for sexual activities, so we open the episode with a discussion about which part of the day is best for sex.

But why stop there? This week, Science of Us columnist and Guardian data editor Mona Chalabi helps us have better sex lives through data and crunches the numbers on a whole bunch of sex-related things: just how much noise people actually make during sex (and how loud is too loud), and the normal age to lose your virginity.
