After winning an Oscar for Room, Brie Larson is now in talks to play a superhero. According to Variety, the actress is the top contender for the role of Captain Marvel, though Marvel has yet to comment. Captain Marvel is one of the many movies the Marvel Cinematic Universe has on its very large slate. Inside Out’s Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman are writing the script. Hopefully Ronda Rousey isn’t too upset with Larson — Rousey really wanted that role, and she can kick serious butt.
