Don’t Bother Justin Bieber When He’s in the Zone

Sometimes Justin Bieber has deep thoughts, and he just has to share them with whatever or whoever is at hand — whether it’s Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, or a stadium full of shrieking fans. If you’re a true Belieber, you will let him be great. Most important, you won’t throw stuff on the stage while he’s talking.

Bieber, who has been realizing a lot of stuff lately, took a break between songs during a show in Atlantic City to expound on the meaning of the name of his tour, but some jerk interrupted his flow.

“The reason why it’s called the Purpose tour is because I feel like everybody in this building has a purpose,” Biebs explained. “And maybe it’s not often that you speak about what your purpose may be, or your friend’s purpose may be … and if we could take this moment to listen and try not to give me a hat or whatever you’re trying to throw on stage right now, because I probably don’t want that shit — sorry, that was mean. But, yeah, now I lost what I was going to say. I was deep in, like, a mode — in the zone! I was in it, and now I’m out of it. I’ll get it back, just give me a second,” he said. If “it” meant rambling on about the meaning of life for another minute or two, then he definitely got “it” back!

“Sorry for throwing your hat, but you ruined the moment. Whatever, let’s do it,” he said, before launching into, you guessed it, “Purpose.”

In the YouTube video, which you can watch below, Bieber sounds a lot like the guy who lived in your dorm who wouldn’t stop talking about that time Phish jammed for ten hours straight.
