For the fourth year running, Taylor Swift forgot to invite us to her annual Fourth of July party. This year’s celebration of our glorious leader took place at her beachside home in Rhode Island, and reportedly featured a giant waterslide labeled “Taymerica,” lots of flag-themed apparel, and plenty of photogenic rock backdrops on which to perform relationships under the watchful gaze of paparazzi. The guest list included both core and peripheral squad members such as Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, Este Haim, Ryan Reynolds, Pregnant Blake Lively, Ruby Rose, Uzo Aduba, and, of course, “boyfriend” Tom Hiddleston, who sported an “I [heart] TS” tank top and many of the telltale signs of Stockholm syndrome. Maybe next year!
