Yesterday the U.S. women’s gymnastics team took home the gold with the largest margin of victory in history. And although their win was more or less expected (they’re kind of a dream team), it’s nonetheless a little stressful to watch 16- and 19-year-old girls executing moves that could lead to a life-altering injury at any second.

“I find [gymnastics] spectacular because anything involving your head pointing down is not something I’d do,” he said. “But it’s too tense. I’m like, ‘Oh, she’s going to fall!’ It makes me too tense.’”

To accompany his statement, the President made a sort of grimacing-shoulder-shrug gesture exactly like the one you make while you’re watching gymnastics on TV. We get it, Barack — you’re a dad through and through.
