In December, actor John Krasinski revealed his new muscular physique, obtained while preparing for his role in Michael Bay’s 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. Since then, the sun has risen and set and risen and set time and time again. Many, many moons have passed. Babies have been born, seasons have changed, and still, one message continually echoes in the wind: John Krasinski talking about his muscles.

At first, the actor was proud of how beefy he had become, telling Men’s Health, “I think there’s a part of you where you become addicted to it. I love feeling strong … I walk with better posture and a little more presence. I was more of a sit-in-the-corner guy. Now I’m a lot less of that.” Shortly after that, in January, he told Stephen Colbert that wife Emily Blunt “hates” his body and “would way prefer to have doughy guy back.”

Now, nearly eight months since 13 Hours came out, Krasinski is still talking about his dang muscles!!! As he recently told Elle, “Totally selfishly, [sex] is so much better for me being jacked because you feel so much more confident and you see yourself as this much more sexual person, which is really fun.”
